The first interview on the blog is with one of our most recognizable faces here at Amber Diagnostics, Mirna Ivazian. Read on to find out what Mirna does for us at the company and some interesting trivia as well! (I know from a credible source that she makes the most amazing hummus on Earth.)

1.) How long have you been with Amber Diagnostics?

Five years and ten months.

2.) What is your primary position here at Amber Diagnostics and can you tell us a little more about it?

I am the Goldmine Software Expert/Trainer. Just for a bit of background, Goldmine is a customer relationship management (CRM) system software. It’s used for contact management, it helps to provide and maintain a comprehensive list of customers and other customized data, scheduling and appointment management with both internal and external users, it allows for the recording of any potential sales opportunities with detailed information, allows recording email history with the customers, marketing, and mass emails.

3.) What’s your favorite part of working at Amber Diagnostics?

I love that Amber Diagnostics is a family run business, and that reflects in the environment. Also, the owners appreciate the hard work their employees put in.

4.) What do you feel is the biggest impact Amber Diagnostics has on the lives of others?

Our company saves a life everyday, by providing good pricing and excellent quality of our machines.

5.) Tell me something unusual about yourself.

I was born and raised in Lebanon, then I lived in Canada for 5 years and I’ve been here in Florida since Dec 2006. I’m also multilingual; I speak Arabic (Lebanese & Classic), French, English, and some Armenian (because my husband is Armenian.) After work I go to work at my family’s restaurant “Tabouli’s Grille,” in Altamonte Springs, FL.
