“End of Life” refers to systems out of production for well over 10 years
When you hear the words end of life you know that you are about to lose a dear and loved piece of equipment. In diagnostic imaging, it’s no different when you use that particular term.
What does end of life really mean, though? Well, let’s look at it as it relates to MRI scanners. “End of Life” refers to systems out of production for well over 10 years. Often times this type of equipment can be a concern if it’s not properly taken care of.
The fact is that a well taken care of MRI scanner will last a lot longer than five or ten years. In many countries overseas this type of equipment is the norm given their cost effectiveness.
If you have any questions about the right MRI scanner for your facility, please feel free to give us a call. Our team of experts here at Amber Diagnostics is looking forward to answering any questions you may have.
