Advanced Imaging

Mobile PET/CT Machine Features

Hybrid Imaging

Combines PET and CT in a single scanner, providing both metabolic and anatomical information.

High-Resolution CT

Uses X-rays to create detailed cross-sectional images of the body, helping to identify the exact location, size, and shape of structures and lesions.

Metabolic Imaging with PET

Uses a radiotracer, typically fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG), to visualize metabolic processes and highlight areas of high metabolic activity, often corresponding to cancerous tissues.

Integrated Imaging Software

Merges PET and CT images to provide a comprehensive view, facilitating precise localization and characterization of abnormalities.

Advanced Detectors

Utilizes advanced detectors for improved sensitivity and image quality, enabling the capture of fine details and subtle changes in tissue.

Fast Scanning

Reduced scanning time compared to separate PET and CT scans minimizes patient discomfort and improves throughput.

Quantitative Analysis

Provides quantitative data, such as Standardized Uptake Values (SUV), to assess metabolic activity, which is useful for monitoring treatment response and disease progression.

Patient Comfort

Designed with patient comfort in mind, featuring wide bore designs and quick scan times, it ensures a more pleasant patient experience.

Multimodal Diagnostics

Versatile in diagnosing and monitoring various conditions, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurological disorders, it enhances the accuracy of diagnosis and treatment planning.

Advanced Imaging Protocols

Offers a variety of imaging protocols tailored to specific clinical needs, including whole-body scans, brain scans, and others.

Data Management

Integrated with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) for efficient data storage and retrieval, it facilitates seamless integration into hospital information systems.

When expanding or incorporating a new modality isn’t feasible, a stationary mobile configuration emerges as an excellent solution. This approach offers increased flexibility, ensuring your facility can adapt to evolving needs without the limitations of physical expansion.

Features

  • Dual Slide-Outs in Gantry room providing increased patient comfort and maximizing throughput.
  • Patient changing room.
  • Patient lift, roll up door and stair well.
  • HVAC and humidity control system.
  • Emergency street and curbside lighting.

Requirements

To set up and operate the mobile unit effectively, ensure there is enough room for maneuvering and positioning.

  • The patient lift, entry stair, and optional platform require extra space on the passenger side.
  • The unit’s storage compartments and service doors must be accessible.
  • Maintain an 8-foot magnetic exclusion zone from the trailer walls.
  • Level support pad or adequate space in the parking lot.
  • Hardline phone and internet connectivity.

Additional Considerations:

  • Prioritize patient access.
  • Be aware of the potential impact on the magnetic field from vehicles and other heavy metal objects that could be possibly parked close to the MR Trailer.
